In terms of design, the BYD Haishi 06 adopts the latest ocean-themed design language, featuring a closed front fascia common in new energy vehicles and split headlights. The BYD Haishi 06 has a clean side profile with a continuous waistline and a black trim strip running along the bottom. It also features a floating roof design. Regarding tires, the Haishi 06EV model shown in the photos features black and silver two-tone low-drag rims and Chaoyang RADIAL RP76 series tires, size 235/50 R19. The Haishi 06DM model shown in the photos has the same rim design and tire size as the Haishi 06EV, but uses Yokohama ADVAN V61 series tires.

Interior-wise, the BYD Haishi 06 adopts the latest family design style, with a high-gloss black trim panel running across the center console. The fully digital instrument cluster is embedded, and a large floating central control screen is also used. The four-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in two-tone leather and uses a column shifter. The center console includes a wireless charging pad for mobile phones, physical buttons and scroll wheels, cup holders, and a refrigerator with heating and cooling in the center armrest.

In terms of power, according to information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the BYD Haishi 06DM will be equipped with a powertrain consisting of a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor. The 1.5-liter engine has a maximum power of 74 kW, and the drive motor has a maximum power of 160 kW. It will be paired with lithium iron phosphate battery packs of 18.316 kWh and 26.593 kWh capacities, providing a pure electric range of 93 km and 130 km respectively under MIIT operating conditions.
